Experienced Planning Consultant

Who are we?
Lee Evans Partnership LLP (‘LEP’) is a reputable and progressive multi-disciplinary design practice working across the south-east of England. Our award-winning design teams work across a large variety of sectors of the construction industry, ensuring project variety, with no two days the same.
Our team is made up of 30 amazing professionals in architecture, interior design, heritage consultancy and town planning across two studio locations: Canterbury (head office) and London.

The Role:
The role will involve, but is not limited to, the following:
- Planning applications and appeals
- Site appraisals and feasibility assessments
- Development plan representations
- Provide comprehensive and confident planning advice to clients and other professionals, exploring solutions
- General project and client management, including project team coordination
The LEP Planning Team work across multiple sectors, including healthcare, education, residential, regeneration, commercial and heritage, offering lots of opportunity for variety within the role. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to build their own specialism within the team, and would be supported in building their own client base. Successful candidates may wish to be based at our thriving head office in Canterbury, or at our London studio in Farringdon – this can be discussed with shortlisted applicants.
Skills & Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a UK qualified planning consultant, ideally holding MRTPI, with a minimum of 3 years industry experience. Ideal candidates will hold the following skills and qualifications:
- 3 years + private or public sector experience
- Hold an RTPI-accredited town planning qualification (2:1 or higher)
- Hold, or have an appetite to work towards, MRTPI status
- Excellent written, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong time-keeping and organisational skills
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferable
Remuneration & Benefits:
A highly competitive salary, based upon experience, will be offered.
