Growing up in Lithuania, Sonata knew from a young age that she had a passion for numbers. After gaining her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting she accepted a wonderful opportunity to work as an accountant in The Gambia, spending two years contracted with an international food import and logistics company.
Following a holiday to England, Sonata fell in love with the UK and quickly decided to stay… fast forward 12 years and Sonata has found a home here with the LEP team as our Accounts Administrator.
Since settling in the UK, Sonata has furthered her learning and experience in accountancy, undertaking various roles in accounting and bookkeeping and completing her AAT levels 2, 3 and 4, together with a Professional Diploma in Accounting.
Her three beautiful boys and hamster keep her busy outside of work, with Friday Family Movie Nights being a highlight of her week.
