LEP Ladies Chat to Students about Careers in Architecture & Design

LEP’s Suzanne, Charlotte, Sophie and Shannon attended a great Careers Day at Simon Langton Girls Grammar School in Canterbury today to chat to the students about careers in architecture, interior design and planning.

As project architects for the regeneration of the school a few years ago, it was great to see how positively the spaces were used and received by students and staff alike.  The team played a 3D fly-through of the school which we developed during the design stages of the project, which attracted lots of interest from students.  A very busy, but rewarding, morning of answering questions was had by all!

We felt the event was a perfect opportunity to represent women within the construction industry, and to highlight the wide variety of roles and career opportunities available… and whether by accident or by design, it tied in very nicely indeed with #InternationalWomensDay2023!
