SECBE Awards 2024 – Celebrating LEP’s Elouise Mitchell

On Thursday, LEP’s Senior Planner, Elouise Mitchell, and London Planning Lead, Associate Reece Lemon, attended the spectacular SECBE Awards, celebrating Elouise’s nomination and shortlisting for the prestigious G4C Future Leader Award.

Elouise joined LEP after gaining experience in the public sector, and later went on to develop her experience as a Planning Manager for a national housebuilder.  Elouise returned to LEP as a Senior Planning Consultant in early 2023, bringing with her an in-depth understanding of the planning system and a diverse set of experiences across both public and private sector.

With a passion and drive for excellence, her commitment to the industry – all before turning 30 – has been exceptional.  As well as being an outstanding planning consultant, Elouise has acted as mentor to future planners and architects, and is a committee member of Women in Planning Kent, advocating for women’s voices in construction careers.

Although Elouise did not secure the award on the evening, LEP is incredibly proud of her achievements.

Reflecting on the event, Elouise shared, “We had a fantastic evening at the SECBE Awards, celebrating some incredible people and projects driving change in the construction industry. Being nominated and getting through as a finalist for the G4C Future Leader Award was truly special. It was inspiring to hear about the amazing successes achieved through collaborative working and innovation across the sector.”

Reece Lemon added, “Attending the 2024 SECBE Awards was a great opportunity to celebrate the wider construction industry’s successes, especially given Elouise’s nomination in the Future Leader category. With hundreds of talented professionals in the room, it was a chance to fly the LEP flag while enjoying a lively evening of food, drinks, and entertainment. The nominees and winners have set a high bar for the 2025 awards; here’s hoping we all rise to the challenge over the coming year!”

Join us in celebrating Elouise Mitchell’s outstanding contributions to the planning profession and her inspiring journey!
