Celebrating 50 Years of LEP: A Night to Remember

Last night, we celebrated an extraordinary milestone—50 years of LEP—surrounded by friends, colleagues, clients, and collaborators who have been part of our incredible journey.

Since our founding in 1974 by Frank Lee Evans, we’ve had the privilege of designing schools, homes, heritage sites, community hubs, and much more. Over the decades, we’ve created spaces that enrich communities and inspire connection—a legacy we’re deeply proud of.

Our anniversary celebration perfectly captured the spirit of LEP: authentic, caring, creative, and collaborative. Held at The Great Beyond Taproom and Brewery in Hoxton, the evening blended reflection and celebration in equal measure. Guests enjoyed delicious Yard Sale Pizza and bespoke cocktails, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere filled with lively conversations, shared memories, and plenty of laughter.

This wasn’t just a party—it was a celebration of everything that makes LEP special: the people, the passion, and the purpose that drive us.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and made it a night to remember!

Reflecting on the evening, Partner Matt Hayes shared:

“None of this would have been possible without the remarkable people who have been part of this journey: our talented team, past and present; our clients and collaborators; and the communities whose dreams we’ve helped bring to life. The next 50 years will bring challenges, no doubt—but also boundless opportunities to redefine what great architecture means in an ever-changing world… and LEP can’t wait to be part of this exciting future.”

As we step into the next chapter, we remain dedicated to our mission: inspiring and connecting people through transformative architecture. Here’s to the next 50 years of creativity, collaboration, and community!
